Marissa (Mari) Matsusaka, CPA, is the owner of Buds CFO, specializing in small business bookkeeping and CFO services. She is committed to relieving small business owners of the administrative burden of accounting, allowing them to focus on what they do best.

Her services include bookkeeping tasks such as account reconciliations, monthly closing procedures, and reporting, along with CFO-level support in budgeting, analysis, and personalized insights.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Mari is a licensed CPA in both Hawaii and Nevada. She holds a dual BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and has experience in tax, audit, and accounting management from leading accounting firms and a large nonprofit. Her diverse background gives her a deep understanding of the unique challenges businesses face, enabling her to offer practical and strategic financial guidance.
